Woven Pavilion
Repeated members are layered, bent, and tensioned to form a small inhabitable room where pattern becomes enclosure, light becomes material, and movement is guided through shifting apertures.
The pavilion operates between surface and structure. Its woven elements thicken into walls, open into thresholds, and lift into canopy, producing a sequence of compression, release, shadow, and exposure. The project treats construction as an act of accumulation: line by line, strip by strip, a field becomes an interior. Embedded into the ground, the pavilion also records the force of its own making. Cuts, terraces, and traces of extraction turn the site into part of the architectural system, extending the weave beyond the object and into the landscape around it.
